Sadness and how to avoid it

What is the concept of sadness?
Sadness is an unpleasant emotion, which a percentage of people suffer, especially after they are exposed to conditions of frustration, a chronic disease, or a change in their lifestyle due to retirement, travel, or the loss of their property or close people.
Sadness is an unpleasant emotional state, accompanied by a drop in vigor, withdrawal behavior, and a desire to isolate, with a deep sense of despair, frustration, or impotence.
Reasons for sadness:-
Accumulation of work pressure,  the inability to control it, loss of desire to perform it, and failure to do so.  The absence of family compatibility, the instability of family life, the existence of many problems between husband and wife and children, and the absence of harmony.  Poor financial and economic conditions, inability to provide basic needs, debt accumulation, poverty and livelihood.  Infection with health problems and organic diseases.  Control of boredom, routine, negative feelings on the person, and the absence of his goals in life.  Failure in an emotional life, inability to receive or give feelings of love, and separation from a partner.  Being disappointed, betrayed and betrayed by friends, colleagues and relatives.  The death of a loved one, or his illness.  The paradise of family and loved ones by traveling, and leaving for faraway places.  Sadness for no apparent reason, but rather the result of many accumulations of life problems.  Inability to achieve achievements, and achieve success in life.  Failure to meet the psychological needs of people, such as the absence of kindness and tenderness.  Fear for the soul and others of any harm, and this includes many feelings of obsession, related to the fear of death or disease.

How to avoid sadness ?
1- Eat food that brings happiness
Eating dark chocolate reduces stress and stress hormones in the body, and relieves anxiety.  The carbohydrates in foods are an important component of psychological comfort, as studies indicate that they reduce stress, anger and anxiety and increase the production of the hormone serotonin that promotes a feeling of comfort.
But you should stay away from processed or fried carbohydrates, such as (donut candy).  Fruits and vegetables contain omega-3 fatty acids that reduce depression, as well as folic acid and vitamin B, which positively affect mood-related neurotransmitters.
The omega-3 fatty acids present in fish stimulate the production of serotonin and dopamine, thereby relieving depression and improving mood.

 2- Listening to unconventional music
Quiet and optimistic music ensures relaxation and an improved mood, so you should avoid sad music and frustrating songs.  Whales' sounds, wave echoes, and flowing water sounds improve mood, as production of the soothing serotonin hormone accelerates.

3- Don't sit diagonally on the sofa
A study conducted in 2009 showed that sitting or standing upright affects the feelings positively and gives a measure of self-confidence.  Another study conducted by Harvard University showed that sitting straight for at least 120 seconds increases testosterone levels.
You can do some simple exercises, or even walk a long way away to boost your mood.
4- Deceive yourself even if you are in a bad mood
Smile, even if your mood is bad.  A study by Kansas State University found that smiling relieves anxiety and helps the body relax.  Laughter also lowers blood pressure, making us feel more calm.

 5- Pet Authentication
Studies show that petting dogs or cats stimulates the release of the hormone serotonin, prolactin, and oxytocin, that is, all hormones associated with feeling happy and help relieve stress and improve mood.

Another study by the University of North Carolina showed that touching someone reduces heart rate and blood pressure, and makes one feel better as well as secreting hormones of happiness.

 6- You have to shop
Studies show that money makes us happy when we spend it on someone else, so you can take a friend to the market instead of just shopping for yourself.

 7- Participate in charitable works
Studies show that volunteering, charity and good work affect positively the mood, and help reduce anxiety and depression

 8- Allow sunlight to enter
If you use a lot of curtains in your home, especially those that block the entry of sunlight, you should abandon this, which promotes feeling tired and depressed.  You should take vitamin D supplements and sunbed more.
